SOO, I signed all the paperwork for the house, handed over a HUGE fatty cashier's check, freaked out at Jack a little (sorry babe!) and....


WE GET KEYS TOMORROW!!!

Which, if you haven't noticed by my ever-growing list of links all related to DIY home decorating projects, leads me to hours of virtual dreaming. Oh yes. I have plans. (I suppose I should share these plans with Jack...)


Here is a lovely small kitchen (just like mine) that gives endless amounts of inspiration:



The little shelf above for measuring spoons, the glass backsplash (which I would NEVER do -- imagine the time you'd have to spend cleaning it! No thank you!), the hanging pots, the little bookshelves for cookbooks (love!), THE HUGE HANDLES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHELF! I think that's my favorite!
If ONLY we had more money... :) (Doesn't everyone say that!)
