WE SURVIVED!

Tonight was our first activity...of course it happens to be the biggest one of the year for this ward.  I can't feel my feet.  Seriously.  Non-stop all day.  Good news, though.  Our puppies now have a real kennel, after eating their other two.

The activity was SUPER great and it made me fall in love with this ward.  There were SOO many helpful people!  One man in particular was the best ever!  He came for set-up, offered to go get ice, made cornbread, banana bread, AND brought chili (and thankfully won the chili trophy), organized the trunk or treat, washed the dishes, cleaned up tables, etc, etc,....  and we only met him today.  He is my hero (well, second to Jack, who is always my hero.)

THEN I get home and have an email from a family in the ward who just wanted to say "great job" after the activity.  THE BEST!  Yep, cool ward.

I've tried soaking my feet.  I wonder if I will get feeling back tomorrow...

P.S.  Jack was sooo amazing!  He worked all night and slept very little today -- got up and worked it like no other.  I married the best.  I know all you ladies think you got the best, but really, I did.  ;)

House Update

BWAHAHAH!!!!!  Just kidding!

This is for D'On.

The former and current paint in the "massage room".

NOW, I would have D'On everyone know that the house is not even close to being shown on the blog.  The good new, though?  Jack and I bet the dishes on how much the puppies would weigh.  I won!!!!  And now we have a beautifully empty sink.  THANK YOU JACK!

Also, I hope Jack writes more.  Seriously??  I love that kid so much!  (Cried a little today because I didn't get to say goodbye before he left for work.  Dang puppies.)

JACK's POSTING SOMETHING

So I have here to for been completely silent when it comes to this blog and well I have not updated my own blog in about 8 months so I suck at blogging, oh darn!

Danielle my Love keeps everything pretty up to date with what is happening in our lives so I do not know what to put. So I suppose it does not matter what I say here does it. So let me think.

1st I love our dogs but man they are smart. That causes us to have to do a lot more work than I was expecting to do. It's fun though

2nd Danielle keeps telling me that she cannot believe we are married. Its been thee months, and I personally can't see how she doesn't believe it. I mean there are some big clues that it's true. Like us getting dogs together, folding clothes together and oh yeah buying a house together. Maybe it seems like a dream to her I am pretty mystical. (I don't really know what this means)

3rd I wish we were actually moved in already we have lived here for three months and we still do not have things unpacked. good thing we have time on our side.

Well that sums up the things I wish to say. Really I cannot think of anything else to say.

Phew!

My sister told me today that I don't update my blog enough.  I say unto her:  whatever.  :)

Jack and I are now the co-chairs of the activities committee in our ward.  I just procrastinated doing my homework/midterm spent some time building a blog for the activities, JUST IN CASE people in our ward are into blogging.  You never know.

If you want to check it out go to steadactivities.blogspot.com.  It's not terribly exciting, but, I think so.

I was also called to the CTR 7 class in primary -- teaching a mob of 6-7 year old BOYS.  Mostly boys.

This sums up my feelings on this subject:

Have I mentioned??

This is the first time Jack and I have been apart since we got married, and frankly, I miss him!

I just wanted to mention that I love this man, if, you know, you had no idea.

Introducing the two NEWEST Townsends

Unfortunately today may not be the best day to do introductions. It has been a hard day for Jack. The two newest additions to our budding family were NOT very good...

BUT, obedience is a learning process...

Meet Jake:

and Jonesie.

They enjoy sleeping on "their" bean bag

wrestling (all the time)

eating our faces

and being just plain adorable (with a SUPER hot guy):

We (mostly) delight in their presence in our home. :)

(And because everyone seems to ask -- they are brother and sister and the breed is supposedly American Foxhound and Australian Shepherd.)
