Through the week...

Hurrah!  Tuna got fixed!  She is now officially an outside cat.  We're so happy!

This past week we've had to keep her inside while she healed.  She had to wear the cone of shame.

It was BRILLIANT!  She was hilariously clumsy, super cuddly, and loved to snuggle.

And the cone of shame was just funny. 

 Oh, did I mention she also slept a lot?  Most excellent.

We decided to start working on the entertainment center again.  Good times.

I also went on a cleaning binge in TWO rooms and this is everything I threw out.  SIX bags!!  This does not include donations!  Wow, that's a lot of crap.  :)

Coming up next:  New glasses and a hair cut!  SO excited!

Monday I didn't have to work.  I had big BIG plans for the day, but then I opened the blinds...

There's something about a cat sitting in the window or lounging in the sun that makes me want to curl up on the couch and nap.

Needless to say, I didn't accomplish much on Monday...

In other news, that cat is getting fixed tomorrow.  Can I get a holla?!

Hopefully she won't be such a ... well... one of these:

You know what I'm talking 'bout.

(FYI -- I find it hilarious when Jonesie's upper lip gets stuck on her teeth.)

Tuna will be able to go outside!  FOREVER!  And we won't have to worry about cute cuddly little baby kittens again!  And she'll stop meowing incessantly because she won't want to get some ALL the time!  

Not everyone is as excited as Jack and I are about this...

P.S.  What makes me beautiful?  Glad you asked!  How 'bout a date with the doctor for some new glasses -- ABOUT FREAKING TIME I tell ya.  I broke my last pair of glasses over 2 years ago and have been wearing the same ones I had in high school ever since.  Am I excited?!  That doesn't even come close to how I feel about it.

P.S. #2  I am also going to get my hair cut -- it's been since last April.  Looong time.  Here's what I might go for:

Fall, er, I mean, Winter Days

The weather here in Reno is ridiculous!  It is so warm for the middle of winter and we haven't seen any snow.  Not even the mountains!  It feels like fall, and while I should be outside actually working, I instead stay inside and stare at my seed catalog over and over again.

'Tis the season.

Well, 'tis the month, anyway.  (I've been sick -- cut me some slack!)

My catalog is very well worn.  It's the first one I've ever received, so it's fascinating.

PURPLE potatoes.  Seriously, so cool.

A CRAZY variety of tomatoes.  It makes me happy.

Look at how colorful and pretty those fruits and veggies are!
