My Rants

Rant #1:  If you are in a position of power over someone else, do not make them feel insignificant. AND, if you are in said position and you need to talk to someone while they are talking with someone else, have the decency to say, "Excuse me, may I speak with you in private?"  That's polite.  What is not polite is saying, "I have a question for you", glaring at the person they were talking to, and exiting the room expecting them to follow you and THEN standing right next to the other person's desk so they can't go back to work until you finish your oh-so-important and secret question.  It's LAME.  And rude.

Rant #2:  Get off your cell phone/pinterest/personal email if you are at work!

Rant #3:  If you are someone's work soul-mate, do not leave them, even for a job that may lead to your dream job.  (haha)

Rant #4:  Do not knock the age when someone gets married.  Some people marry young.  Some people marry old.  BUT if it's right, WHO CARES?!  You shouldn't.  For sure.

Rant #5:  Fundraising for your church in the grocery store -- unacceptable.  Period.  Don't do it.
