Looks like we have some SPAM fans out there...

Who knew?!

Please leave your favorite recipe involving SPAM in the comments section.

Here's mine:

SPAM MUSUBI

1 can SPAM
3 sheets of seaweed
1-1.5 cups rice
2 Tbs sugar
2-3 Tbs soy sauce
water

Cook rice according to instructions on package.  Cut spam into six slices and fry until golden on both sides (KEEP SPAM PACKAGING!).  While spam is cooking, mix together the sugar and soy sauce.  When spam is almost done, pour soy sauce mixture over the slices.  Flip spam over so both sides get coated with soy sauce mixture.  Cut seaweed sheets in half.

Once rice is done you're ready to put everything together!  Fill up the spam container 1/3-1/2 of the way with rice.  Pack rice down and take out of spam container.  Repeat until you have 6 rice patties.  Place rice patty on center of seaweed strip.  Put a slice of spam top of rice.  Fold the seaweed around rice and spam and seal the ends of the seaweed together with a little bit of water.  (I just dip my fingers in a cup of water and run them along the edge of the seaweed.)

EAT!

We love to dip ours in this crazy hot Chinese chile sauce.

This is seriously one of our favorite meals.  It is soo much more flavorful than L&L's.  :)

Let me know if you try it and what you thought!
